Exhortation To Godliness

1 Peter 4:9 Use hospitality one to another without grudging 2 Timothy 2:2-4 (Anchor on verse 3) Thou therfore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 4. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. Insight Revelation "Hospitality" Homest - Words that lift up not tear down the brethren and people! Openness - to receive understanding from God when you don't quite understand why Something - appears to be something that is not! Support - each other with kindness and love! Patience - in all things Ignorant - will get you know where! Tolerable - to shift when you needed! Accept -people for who they are you can't change no one but yourself! Love - at all time! Incomplete - without God and the Holy Ghost to guide you into all truth! Truth - will make you free from the bondage of lies told by the enemy! Yield - to the Holy Spirit! "Grudging" Grumping - complaining about everything because its not going your way Rude - arrogance and offended Ugly - out of character taking on the property of satan Devilish - doing what seem right in your eyesight Guilt - feeling like you need to prove a point Insecure - struggling with a personal battle within yourself 'building the wrong character' Nervous - that someone will take the spotlight Get - Over yourself Reference Scripture: Romans 12:13 Distibuting to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. Note: Distributing to the ...saints. the Christian has social responsibility to all people, but especially to other believers (see Galatians 6:10) 2 Timothy 2:2-4 Note: Paul gives three examples for timothy to follow (1) a soldier who wants to please his commander; (2) an athlete who follows the rules of the game; and 93) a farmer who works hard. A Soldier - Follow the order given my his superior Athlete - Teachable willing to learn something new Rules - Know that their are bondary you don't cross Game - Know how to play well and understand your opponent Farmer - Know how to care and make money Work Hard - Not lazy willing to labor to receive a harvest
